I have to admit that I love making bark and giving it away to friends and family. It it so easy I mean sooooo easy...
Here is what you need:
Chocolate (It can be bars, big squares for cooking, or chips)
Andie Mints (again bars or chips)
Put your Milk or White Chocolate in a doubble broiler. Now if that word scares you don't worrie I will explaine it completly...
Take a med size pot. But a glass or heat proof bowl over the pot. You want to add a little water about an inch or so. Just make sure it does NOT touch the bottom of your bowl. Begin to simmer not boil the water once it begins to simmer but your bowl with chocolate over the water.
NOTE: You want to keep an eye on the chocolate at all times if you step away just for a min you will burn the choclate.
You should stir you chocolate constantly. Once it is fully melted pour on a
Silpat or wax paper. Smooth out as big as you want it and add your FROZEN
Andies Mints.
Let it cool and break up once cooled.
You can store it in the fridge for up to a month but who would let chocolate sit for that long.
Sorry I have not taken any pictures to show you but if you have any questions just let me know.
MERRY CHRISTMAS,
Jessica
