Church Planters and Beta Test

Good morning all!

Last week I had the immense privilege to attend a Beta Test of one of DCPIs training tracts. It was at our Colorado Springs headquarters. It had been so long since I had been to Colorado Springs. It was like I was seeing it for the first time. The mountains were so majestic and gorgeous! I honestly could stare at them for hours! Did I mention the stars?? I didn't, well they were amazing(like always)!

During this Beta test I got to meet some amazing church planters and some denominational leaders. I was so excited I got to meet Jeremy and Travis from Green Bay. I know I have told you about them. He is the one who planted a church on Global Church Planting Sunday.

Although I don't see myself planting a church any time soon it was awesome to be apart of a training. It was such a blessing to hear the vision that God has given to all the church planters. Their passion rubbed of on me! We heard from lot of people and were able to pray for them as well. I mean what would church planting training be without prayer!

On the second day we had a lesson on dealing with discouragement. They chose the right person to present that. Stacy Hilliard always knocks it out of the park! I felt like he was speaking right to me! We can thank the Holy Spirit for that!

I'm not necessarily discouraged. He was just reaffirming my calling! Here are some points that stood out to me!

  • God puts the DO in you!
  • The reason God is calling you is because He knows what's in you!
  • What you need to fulfill your destiny, God will get to you!
  • Focus creates blindness. John 4:35
At one point I thought he might break the tv screen because he was getting into it!

Overall the 3 day training was successful. I got to network a little and the track is coming along nicely.
I am so blessed to have this calling. The Lord is truly teaching me to be patient and showing me His vision!

I pray Gods blessing over each of you!

Question me if you dare

reposting because it got deleted on accident. First posted on February 27th, 2015

As the snow is falling I am just reminded of so many things. The Holy Spirit lays heavy on my heart, mind and soul.

This morning I went and spoke with a fellow christian about becoming a missionary. As I sat there listening to his questions it began to sink in that he was questioning my beliefs and my calling!

Yes, I know that what I'm doing is hard. Yes, I know it is challenging to raise funds when I'm not shipping off to another country. And YES I know without a shadow of a doubt that this is where God is calling me!  With God ALL things are possible!!!!

Then as I was speaking with a teammate he was dealing with the same thing. We are in the midst of spiritual warfare! As I was praying this verse (part of my destiny statement) came to mind! "And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall. Then you will trample down the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet" Malachi 4:2-3

Although our passion level may be a little low today, we both recognize that what we do day-to-day saves lives and takes them away from the devil! Not only saves them, we take them out of darkness. From darkness into the light! The light of the One true God!!

I know that even though we have these days where people who we thought were on our side, question us, we are where we're supposed to be!

Question me if you dare! But, I have a very big and a very loving God on my side! I am where I need to be!

Light Bulb

So as I was sitting in class I began to feel comfortable. Knowing that this is what God has really called me to do.

See I have been really struggling with whether or not I was going to be successful at partnership raising. I have never been successful as selling or raising money. But somehow I have the confidence and the backing now to be successful!!

God has really transformed me during this time of transition. Im not sure where He is taking me on this new journey but I wholeheartedly know that He has my back and will lead me where he wants me to go!!

As a wise lady once said to me.... You are creative, God will bring out even more creativity. More than you ever knew you had!

I truly cannot wait to see what God has in store for me!!

As a bonus..... here is some of God's handy work (yes I did take these)!!

Word of the Year

What an amazing world we live in! People can freely worship God and support His call on us all! (Matthew 28:19)

Just seeing what's going on around the world today is heart breaking! God's work is not done so I know He isn't coming back soon but to see what it says in the bible and to see what's happening in the world just confirms the fact that He will!

I know I have shared on here before about my new adventure in ministry. The Lord had truly blessed Jeff and I! I say truly bless because I have no other words to say how grateful and blessed we really are for everything He has done for us! God is truly showing us favor as we move into this new adventure.
------------------------------------------------------------
As I was reading His word and thinking about my word for the year I came across this passage in 1 Corinthians 13:2

"If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am NOTHING."

God is showing me His great LOVE through everything that has been going on with us. Gods love is unconditional! In the websters dictionary it defines unconditional as "not limited by conditions".

I know for me, just thinking about unconditional love is mind BLOWING! There is nothing we could do or say to lose that kind of love! So for that reason I feel my word for the year is LOVE! Without love we are nothing!

I pray God will show me more of Himself and more of His Love this year!!

Always remember God loves you and so do I!

New Adventures

Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you already know, I have begun a new and exciting adventure. I have a new job working for Jesus and Dynamic Church Planting International as Global Church Planting Sunday Coordinator. DCPI is a non-denominational organization working to train leaders to plant 5 Million Church’s throughout the World!

GCPS takes one Sunday throughout the year to celebrate what God has done and to raise awareness. The goal of this Sunday is to get more people willing to be trained so they can go plant more churches.

Would you please prayerfully consider supporting God’s kingdom through me? I am trying to raise $1000 in the month of December so I can receive a matching donation. Each donation is tax deductible and supports God’s call on us all.

Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”
To make a one time or monthly donation please visit my page. Click Here

Did you know, that over the past 100 years the number of churches per 10,000 people has gone from 27 in 1915 to just 9 in 2015. Each church planted will win 47 new believers each year for the first 5 years! So now, more than ever it is important to support the growth of Gods Kingdom. Thank you in advance for supporting me!

Lots of Love,
Jess

Thankful!

Now that the weather is getting cooler and the leaves are falling off the trees there are so many great opportunities to take photos. A lot of photographer friends I have like to take pictures of families. I've thought about taking those for fun... but my specially (or so I like to think) is close ups and nature. I really find it fascinating to get the micro details of nature and whatever I'm shooting.

I was editing some pictures earlier and realized that the gift I have totally came from God! He reminded me of the Love He has for everything! ALL things from small to large! He created everything! Its really hard to wrap your head around that! Well at least for me.

I am so thankful for the little reminders of His love and sacrifice! Weather it be a photograph of a bug on a Sunflower or a red leaf that stands out from the brown grass and twigs.

During this time of year remember all the things He has done for you and be thankful! Even if you don't necessarily believe. Just remember to be thankful for the family and friends in your life! If you want to know more about this wonderful God I'm talking about let me know! I would be happy to tell you more!

Happy Thanksgiving and remember to get out there and experience mother nature!
